Fall 2026 Voice Lesson Policies

Tuition

Voice lessons are $30 per lesson and are charged at the beginning of the month. Tuition is due by the 1st of the month for any lessons that are scheduled for that month. You are not charged for lessons during holidays and studio closings. Please refer to the full studio calendar.

We do not issue any refunds for missed lessons. If a student must miss a lesson, please follow the absences/makeups policies below. If an instructor misses a lesson, and a makeup cannot occur, we will issue a credit to your account for the lesson.

Absences and Makeups

Our instructors set aside this time particularly for your student. We ask that you keep absences to an absolute minimum to show respect to our instructors. If a student continues to miss lessons on a regular basis, an instructor may recommend to the director that the student be dropped from their lesson slot. The director will reach out to discuss this with the student’s family.

There is a limit of 2 Makeup Lessons for the fall semester for student misses. This does not include instructor misses.

If you alert us to the student miss before the lesson time, we will do our best to schedule a makeup lesson, but no makeups are guaranteed.

If you do not let us know that the student will be missing before their lesson time, the student is no longer eligible for a makeup for that lesson.

Discontinuing Lessons

If you wish to discontinue lessons, you must let us know in writing two weeks prior to the drop date. You will continue to be charged for lessons for two weeks from when the notice is given.

Schedule

We encourage students to continue their voice lessons for the full school year, but we understand that schedules may shift in the Spring semester. Your voice lesson slot will be automatically held for you for the Spring semester. When our spring registration begins, you must contact us at music@stagelightstheater.com to let us know if you need to change your slot or discontinue your lessons for our Spring semester. Lessons continue through the end of May 2027, and a voice recital will be held at that time for those who wish to participate.
